Academy Award Nominee Melissa Leo from the Fighter Takes Time out for Fans!

I am so late. Traffic… Ugh… And now when I used to be coming from the valley, I’m coming from Santa Monica… Wow, traffic from Santa Monica to Hollywood is like Satan’s tool to drive me insane. Really it is. Sigh… Anyway, on to the subject at hand. Ms. Melissa Leo AKA Alice Ward from The Fighter is here. And Ms. Melissa Leo is the last person I need to finish my Fighter poster, not to mention she is an Academy Award nominee! And totally rocks.

6:32 p.m. – Ugh… Traffic… Erica is there already and said Melissa Leo walked in but couldn’t hear them yelling for her cause the band was super loud sound checking. Sigh…

6:43 p.m. – I just parked and am walking over… Erica is right, the band is super loud. LOL… Wow, I haven’t even heard of them.

6:48 p.m. – Ryan Seacrest is also on the show today. I’m not a huge fan… In fact, I once made him feel bad about being short. I’m not going to write about it today, but rest assured it’s all true, and it was not intentional and the rant he went on when he was a radio jock on star 98.7 was totally uncalled for. And that’s all I’m saying… lol…

6:53 p.m. – It’s such a nice night, and there are only about 8 people here, and everyone’s cool. I actually have become a pretty big fan of Melissa Leo’s. I mean, the Fighter was simply a stunning film. And Melissa was amazing… AMAZING.

7:01 p.m. – The show should be wrapping up soon. By soon, I mean like hours… lol…

7:11 p.m. – Ah well… It’s a beautiful night outside. And not that cold. Whoo Hoo!

7:22 p.m. – Oh, I think… Oh, Ryan Seacrest is leaving. There are some fans here who are calling him over. He just darts out and waves. It looked like he was in a hurry, so you know it happens. I’m not holding it against him. Partially because I don’t care about Ryan Seacrest but also cause it really looked like he was in a hurry.

7:32 p.m. – Erica has her Fighter poster as well. She got it signed the other day at the Q and A with Mark Wahlberg. She needs Christian Bale on it though. Lol… I have every confidence she will get it finished. She’s a determined one, that Erica. Lol…

7:41 p.m. – It should be any time now… Ah… I’ve never heard anything about Melissa Leo, so I don’t know if she’s cool or not. She seems cool, but you just never know sometimes.

7:54 p.m. – Oh… I think Melissa Leo is coming out… The strange thing is there is a car with the blinker lights on sitting in the ally.

7:56 p.m. – Okay, Melissa stopped to have a smoke break. Lol…

7:58 p.m. – Okay… Okay… There she is. Melissa Leo! Everyone calls out for her. She comes right on over. Erica has her silver pen out and Melissa Leo is super nice. She signs Erica’s poster and my poster, and she is very nice.

8:03 p.m. – Someone asks is she is going to be on Treme this upcoming season. She answers yes and seems so excited about it. Melissa is so nice… I mean she makes sure everyone gets a photo or an autograph. Then she comes back and I got a photo with her. She is so nice.

8:05 p.m. – It was a nice evening, no pushing shoving, and Melissa was super nice!
