Disney And Lucasfilm Cast The New Han Solo! Alden Ehrenreich Gets The Coveted Role!

It looks like we have a new Han Solo!

Alden Ehrenreich has been cast in the iconic role that made Harrison Ford a household name. The actor was previously in Beautiful Creatures and the Coen Bros film Hail, Caesar! Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will direct the movie for Lucasfilm and Disney. Lawrence Kasdan wrote the script and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest films on the docket.

No one knows the plot but it will be set before Han Solo meets up with the Rebel Alliance. Chewbacca will be in it and it’s possible it might include Boba Fett as well.

It is set for release May 25, 2018
