Lee Daniels Wants To Make Alex Pettyfer Into A Gay Action Star In His New Movie! Ummm Okay?

So Lee Daniels, the director of The Paperboy and the his The Butler has just said, he wants to cast Alex Pettyfer who shook his moneymaker in Magic Mike in… Wait for it… A gay superhero film.

And that’s not just it… It’s a gay inter-racial superhero film…. Huh?

According to The Film Stage Daniel said in OUT magazine that it would sort of like a gay Mr. and Mrs. Smith with “two good-looking guys as the action heroes.” He went on to add, “I have to find the right black guy opposite [Pettyfer]. He’s so hot, isn’t he? So hot. And so aware of his hotness in a way that’s so…I love him to death.”

Apparently, the fact that these two guys are gay action heroes wouldn’t be revealed until the end of the film. So… spoiler alert!

I must admit it’s an interesting idea, I hated The Paperboy (even though I thought Nicole Kidman was amazing) and I haven’t seen The Butler yet, so who knows!
