Fox Releases Official Alien: Covenant Synopsis And Title Treatment! Noomi Rapace Not Returning? Connecting It To The Original Alien?
It looks like Ridley Scott has changed the name of his Prometheus sequel once again. It’s now going to be called Alien: Covenant. Before It was Alien: Paradise Lost.
Okay… 20th Century Fox has released a press synopsis and logo treatment earlier today.
Here’s the breakdown:
Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise. But it actually turns out to be a dark, dangerous world. And the sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
There’s no mention of Noomi Rapace’s involvement so since David is the “sole” inhabitant one would assume she’s no longer part of the project.
This new prequel trilogy is said to connect directly to the original Alien series.
Did David create the Alien Xenomorphs? Has he created his own world?
Who knows… It could be really interesting!
