Box Office Breakdown! Doctor Strange Holds On For Number One! Arrival Makes It To Number 3! And More!

Doctor Strange prescribed another win, taking the top spot with $43 million.

Trolls spread some more magic, holding at number two with $35 million.

Arrival landed at number three, opening with $24 million.

 

Almost Christmas wasn’t too festive, opening at number four with $15.5 million.

 

Hacksaw Ridge needed rescuing at number five with $10.7 million.

 

The Accountant made the grade at number six with $4.5 million.

Shut In was shut out, opening at number seven with just $3.7 million.

 

Boo! A Madea Halloween wasn’t too sweet, falling to number eight with $3.5 million.

 

Jack Reacher Never Go Back didn’t go far at number nine with $3.3 million.

 

Rounding out the top ten was Inferno with $3.2 million.
