It’s time to take a look at the year-end box office results. It was a stellar year for The Walt Disney Company, as they have 6 of the top ten grossing films of 2016.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is sure to surpass Finding Dory by the end of its theatrical run. Warner Bros. was still pretty far behind with just two movies in the top ten, while animated films certainly made their mark. Three of the top ten movies of 2016 were animated.
