The Equalizer 2 got revenge, opening at number one with $35.8 million.
Mama Mia: He We Go Again sang for joy, opening at number two with $34.8 million.
Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation checked in at number three with $23.1 million.
Ant-Man and the Wasp bugged the number four spot with $16.1 million.
Incredibles 2 strong armed the number five spot with $11.5 million.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was going extinct at number six with $11.0 million.
Skyscraper collapsed at number seven with $10.9 million.
The First Purge was criminal at number eight with $4.9 million.
Unfriended: Dark Web had no followers, opening at number nine with $3.4 million.
Rounding out the top ten was Sorry to Bother You with $2.8 million.
