Bohemian Rhapsody rocked audiences at number two with $30.8 million.
Overlord was resurrected, opening at number three with $10.1 million.
The Nutcracker and the Four Realms cracked the chart at number four with $9.5 million.
The Girl in the Spider’s Web: A New Dragon Tattoo Story hit a snag, opening at number five with $8.1 million.
A Star is Born stayed bright at number six with $8.0 million.
Nobody’s Foot lacked Intel at number seven with $6.5 million.
Venom still had some sting at number eight with $4.8 million.
Halloween lost some screams at number nine with $3.8 million.
Rounding out the top ten was The Hate U Give with $2 million.
