Fifty Shades Darker got spanked, opening at number two with $46.7 million.
John Wick: Chapter Two did dog gone well, opening at number three with $30 million.
Split was still captivating at number four with $9.3 million.
Hidden Figures calculated $8 million at number five.
A Dog’s Purpose was meaningful at number six with $7.3 million.
Rings lacked emotion at number seven with $5.8 million.
La La Land twirled into number eight with $5 million.
Lion roared at number nine with $4 million.
Rounding out the top ten was The Space Between Us with $1.7 million.
