Box Office Breakdown! Mission Impossible Rockets To Number One! Vacation Sputters Out! Pixels Crashes! And More!

Taking the top spot was anything but a Mission Impossible, with MI5 grabbing $56 million it’s opening weekend.

Arriving in second place was Vacation with $14.8 million a number far lower than anticipated.

Ant-Man was repelled to number three with $12.6 million but amassed a solid $132 domestic take so far.

Minions were submissive at number four with $12.2 million.

It’s almost game over for Pixels which took the number five spot and $10.4 million.

Trainwreck still hasn’t derailed at number six with another $9.7 million.

Southpaw was down for the count at number seven with $7.5 million.

Paper Towns was folded at number eight with $4.6 million in its second week of release.

Inside Out was feeling sad at number nine with $4.5 million.

Rounding out the top ten and near extinction was Jurassic World with $3.8 million towards its massive $631.5 million domestic total.
