Box Office Breakdown! Ralph Continues To Break For Week 3! Green Book Climbs! Creed II Punches! And More!
With almost no new movies opening, this week’s box office was a complete deja vu from last week.
Ralph Breaks the Internet broke the bank at number one for a third week with $16.1 million.
Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch (2018) grew a heart, holding at number two with $15.1 million.
Creed II took some punches, holding at number three with $10.3 million.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald was still magical, holding at number four with $6.8 million.
Bohemian Rhapsody held a high note and the number five spot with $6 million.
Instant Family bonded, holding at number six with $5.6 million.
Green Brook drove up the charts to the number seven spot with $3.9 million.
Robin Hood (2018) stayed hidden at number eight again with $3.5 million.
The Possession of Hannah Grace was exorcised to the number nine spot with $3.17 million.
Rounding out the top ten was Widows with $3.10 million.

Next week should breathe some new life into the box office with an Oscar hopeful, a big budget adventure and a legendary acting icon. My guess is that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will edge out Clint Eastwood’s The Mule for the top spot. Tune in to see if I’m right.
Until then, happy movie going!

Perhaps we should shut down this column. It’s become a sounding board for random weirdness.
