The Revenant was relentless at number two with $29.5 million.
Star Wars The Force Awakens still had the power of the light side at number three with $25.1 million.
13 Hours battled for number four, opening with $16 million.
Daddy’s Home moved out to number five with $9.3 million.
Norm of the North was less than royalty, opening at number six with $6.6 million.
The Forest lost its way at number seven with $5.7 million.
The Big Short’s stock fell at number eight with $5.2 million.
Sisters reunited at number nine with $4.4 million.
Rounding out the top ten was The Hateful Eight with $3.4 million.
