Box Office Breakdown! Spider-Man Swings To Number One! Mortal Engines Biggest Bomb Of The Year! The Mule Number Two! And More!
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse swung into the top spot, opening with $35.4 million.
The Mule trotted into second place, opening with $17.2 million.
Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch (2018) still had holiday spirit at number three with $11.5 million.
Ralph Breaks the Internet broke the bank at number four with $9.5 million.
Mortal Engines needed fuel, opening at number five with just $7.5 million.
Creed II was on the ropes at number six with $5.3 million.
Bohemian Rhapsody rocked on at number seven with $4.1 million.
Instant Family was solid at number eight with $3.7 million.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald spell was broken at number nine with $3.6 million.
Rounding out the top ten was Green Brook with $2.7 million.
