Rings rung loudly, opening at number two with $13 million.
A Dog’s Purpose had meaning at number three with $10.8 million.
Hidden Figures was in the open at number four with $10.1 million.
La La Land held at number five with $7.4 million.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter was closed, opening at number six with $4.5 million.
Sing was in harmony at number seven with $4.08 million.
Lion roared up to number eight with $4.06 million.
The Space Between Us was distant, opening at number nine with $3.8 million.
Rounding out the top ten was xXx: The Return of Xander Cage with $3.7 million.
