Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker used the force once again to take the top spot with $33.7 million.
Jumanji: The Next Level kept high score at number two with $26.5 million.
Hollywood, CA – December 9, 2019: Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black at the World Premiere of Columbia Pictures’ JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL at the TLC Chinese Theater.
Little Women was fancied at number three with $13.5 million.
The Grudge was angry, opening at number four with $11.3 million.
Frozen II was still hot at number five with $11.2 million.
Spies in Disguise was kept secret at number six with $10 million.
Knives Out stayed sharp at number seven with $9 million.
Uncut Gems sparkled at number eight with $7.8 million.
Bombshell was cracked open at number nine with $4 million.
Rounding out the top ten was Cats with $2.6 million.
