It’s my second win of 2015 – woo hoo. Taken 3 took $40.4 million for the win this weekend.
Selma came in at number two after moving to a wide release with $11.2 million, climbing an astonishing 22 spots from last week’s limited run.
Into the Woods skipped down a spot to number three with $9.7 million.
After four weeks The Hobbit was finally de-throned to number four with $9.4 million.
Unbroken slipped a few spots to number five with $8.3 million and a domestic total of $101.6 million. Go Angelina!
The Imitation Game continued to climb, taking the number six spot with $7.6 million.
On the contrary, Night at the Museum continued to fall, taking the number seven spot with $6.7 million.
Annie is still holding a tune at number eight with $4.9.
After last week’s mediocre opening, The Woman in Black 2 took a nose dive to number nine with $4.8 million.
Rounding out the top ten was The Hunger Games with $3.7 million added to its massive $329 million domestic total.
