Box Office Breakdown! The Revenant Number One! Dirty Grandpa Retired At Number Four! 5th Wave Flops!
The Revenant clawed its way back to number one with $16 million.
Star Wars The Force Awakens used just that to move back up to number two with $14.2 million.
Ride Along 2 hit a curve and dropped to number three with $12.9 million.
Dirty Grandpa was retired, opening at number four with $11.5 million.
The Boy was wooden, opening at number five with $11.2 million.
The 5th Wave was destroyed, opening at number six with just $10.7 million.
13 Hours stayed a secret at number seven with $9.7 million.
Daddy’s Home moved out to number eight with $5.2 million.
Norm of the North headed south to number nine with $4.1 million.
Rounding out the top ten was The Big Short with $3.5 million.
