The Upside was on top, opening at number one with $19.5 million.
Aquaman swam in lane two with $17.2 million.
A Dog’s Way Home sniffed out the number three spot, opening with $11.3 million.
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse swung up a spot to number four with $9 million.
Escape Room was locked out at number five with $8.9 million.
Mary Poppins Returns sailed into number six with $7.2 million.
Bumblebee buzzed at number seven with 6.7 million.
On the Basis of Sex was adjourned at number eight, climbing up eight spots with $6.2 million.
The Mule was stubborn at number nine with $5.5 million.
Rounding out the top ten was Vice with $3.2 million.
