X-Men Apocalypse morphed it’s way to number one, opening with $65 million.
Alice Through the Looking Glass was less than wonderful, opening at number two with $28.1 million.
The Angry Birds had something to sneer about, falling to number three with $18.7 million.
Captain America Civil War lost some patriotism, falling to number four with $15.1 million.
Neighbors 2 Sorority Rising was evicted to number five with $9.1 million.
The Jungle Book survived at number six with $6.9 million.
The Nice Guys had mean ticket sales, falling to number seven with $6.3 million.
Money Monster stocks plummeted to number eight with $4.2 million.
Love & Friendship climbed five spots to number nine with $2.4 million.
Rounding out the top ten was Zootopia with $0.83 million.
