Streaks on the china,
never mattered before,
When you dropped kicked your jacket
As you came through the door,
No one glared.
Yep, if you’re like me, you’ve watched the classic 1980’s sitcom Mr. Belvedere more than you remember. It’s such a fun show and I wish it was out on DVD!
Pinky headed out with her husband Keith and ran into none other than Mr. Belvedere star Brice Beckham. Talk about a blast from the past!
Check out her recap below!
Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here admitting to you all right here and now that I am not cool. I have no ability to be cool, nor am I able to ever keep my feelings at bay. This can be troublesome when you’re the wife of someone who’s been in the public eye and has friends who, well, I grew up watching on TV. Recently we attended an amazing show that Brice Beckham was in along with a stellar cast.
Afterwards, we ventured over to a nearby watering hole to celebrate Brice’s 40th birthday. Oh, and did I mention that this is the same Brice Beckham who played Wesley in Mr. Belvedere? Yeah, that one.
And, you know, after three years with Keith, one would think that I’d be used to meeting his celebrity friends, but I’ve gotta admit to you that as much as I’d love to play it cool and just be casual, I never am. Immediately I freak out and my inner fangirl comes out.
Especially when it’s someone like Brice who I watched on TV for pretty much my entire teenage years. Like, I couldn’t even be cool for one second. I think as soon as I shook his hand I started blabbering about my love for Mr. Belvedere. It wasn’t pretty. Luckily, Brice himself is super cool and didn’t even bat an eye over my fangirling out on him. Well done, Brice. I could take some tips from him!
