Bridesmaids World Movie Premiere! Kristen Wiig! Maya Rudolph! Jon Hamm! Eric Stonestreet! And More!

You know I was debating back and forth about going tonight. I was going to hang out with a friend of mine but he made it sound like he wasn’t doing anything exciting, so since I had my stuff for the Bridesmaids premiere in Westwood I figured I would check it out. I’ve wanted to see this movie especially since I’m a huge fan of Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph. Plus Melissa McCarthy finishes a Gilmore Girls Script I’ve been working on for my sister… So off I go.

5:41 p.m. – I just parked and got a burrito. Ah, Burrito’s and salsa… MMMMMMMM Salsa…

5:46 p.m. – I don’t think I have ever went to a premiere this late before. LOL… CB is holding me a spot but… Wow. There is no one here… I mean there are like six people waiting… What! Is this that small of a premiere!

5:49 p.m. – I checked my info, and yes it starts at 6:30! Wow… Crazy…

6:01 p.m. – I have my Bridesmaids mini poster along with a group of stuff for Jon Hamm… I always have stuff for Jon Hamm! Lol… And my Knocked Up mini poster for Judd Apatow. I also have my Adventureland mini poster for Kristen Wiig. Ah well…

6:12 p.m. – They are handing out T-shirts now… Great, it’s a sea of pink Bridesmaids shirts! And they are sized small! Lol… Ah well… People go crazy for free T-Shirts! What the hell man! Lol… It’s just a cheap shirt! And a size small so you can’t even fit in it! Doh!

6:22 p.m. – Some randoms are coming in…

6:34 p.m. – There’s the first arrival! It’s Wendi McLendon-Covey she was in Reno 911 and is Rita in Bridesmaids. She is a tad shocked when we all call for her. Lol… She comes right over to CB and me and signs for pretty much everyone. She is so sweet!

6:37 p.m. – Wendi Mclendon-Covey is super nice and really does take her time with pretty much everyone!

6:41 p.m. – Oh Wow, there’s Eric Stonestreet from Modern Family! He is on the carpet, everyone is calling him over and wow, here he comes! Eric Stonestreet signs down the line and does a lot of photos. Very cool!

6:43 p.m. – I just got a photo with Eric Stonestreet, and it looks like he’s crossing back over. Very nice of him to cross when it isn’t even his premiere!

6:47 p.m. – Rose Byrne just arrived. Everyone calls out for her, we yell we scream. She doesn’t even turn around. In fact Rose Byrne looks the other way! What the hell man! She’s on Damages but it’s not like she’s Natalie Portman! I mean she’s acting like Natalie Portman right now! Ugh… I mean not even a wave!

6:53 p.m. – Melissa McCarthy from Gilmore Girls just got here! She is crossing, but is starting at the far far end of the barricade! Ugh… And for some reason everyone is rushing… they keep saying, “I gotta go, I gotta go.” And then go to the carpet and stand there! I mean really.

6:54 p.m. – Melissa McCarthy is signing but is standing in the same spot… She gets a few steps down and then… the patented “I gotta go!” Ugh… Dammit! I missed two! Plus, my sister’s present will not get finished! Dammit!

6:59 p.m. – Dammit that really pisses me off!

7:01 p.m. – Rose Byrne totally disses the crowd and then Melissa McCarthy of all people… really? Oh… Ellie Kemper just arrived.

7:02 p.m. – CB just tried to barrel me down for… wait for it… Ellie Kemper. He says, “I have a photo for her.” I’m like yeah, but don’t try to jack me for frakkin Ellie Kemper! Dial it down a couple notches there sparky!

7:03 p.m. – See CB! Ellie Kemper came over to us and signed… All is not lost! Lol… Man oh man, it’s like it’s his first day on the barricade! Yesh… Ellie Kemper! For God sakes. Lol… She is super sweet though, I mean overly sweet!

7:10 p.m. – And Judd Apatow is signing down the other end of the line… How did I miss him arriving? Oh, frakk there’s Jon Hamm! It’s not like I haven’t met him a crapload this year already, but I always have stuff for Jon Hamm! Lol…

7:11 p.m. – My friend doesn’t have anything for Jon Hamm so he helps me with a couple magazines. Judd Apatow actually signed the Entertainment Weekly as well, saying, “I Want to Sign Jon Hamm photos.” Sigh… Really Judd Apatow? Lol…

7:13 p.m. – Jon Hamm signed my Mad Men season 4 presskit and my cast photo, so that pretty much cleans me out of Jon Hamm’s! Lol… Judd Apatow also signed my Knocked Up poster as well. Good times!

7:15 p.m. – Wait… There’s Kristen Wiig! She’s crossing but going to the other end… really, is this going to be my luck? Ugh… She seems to be moving fast, but I can tell that her people are just jumping at the bit to pull her… Why is it when you have a movie premiere you show up at 7:15? Hello! It’s your movie!

7:16 p.m. – Kristen Wiig is really moving down the line, and I call out to her to sign the Bridesmaids poster. She moves a few people down and gets my mini poster, and I asked her to sign this damn Adventureland poster I’ve been holding for years, and she’s like I gotta go! And runs across the street. Ugh… And I really wanted a photo with her too… Ah well, thank God I got her to sign something! At least! Whew…

7:19 p.m. – Another car… it’s Maya Rudolph! Everyone yells for her. And then the car pulls away revealing she is like 9 months preggers! The entire crowd gasped! Lol…

7:20 p.m. – Holy crap! Maya Rudolph still crosses and signs down the line! I’m stunned. She is being careful though. God if the barricade fell or something…

7:22 p.m. – Maya Rudolph gets to us and signs my Bridesmaids mini poster and then one for CB before jumping across the street. Not the best spot we are in… not the best indeed… I just wrote like I was yoda… what is wrong with me!

7:24 p.m. – There’s a bit of commotion…. Wow, Jack black showed up! He’s waving at the crowd and CB took off like a salivating hyena… I’m sure CB is a huge fan… After all Jack Black was in such cinema greats like Nacho Libre, Gulliver’s Travels, Year One, and Be Kind Rewind… you know the classics!

7:25 p.m. – Jack Waved going in and headed right onto the carpet. Oh, there’s Matt Lucas from Little Britain and Alice in Wonderland. He is super nice and signs and talks to people going down the line… Very cool.

And that as they say is that! Was it a wonderful day… nope, was it horrible… nope! I’m happy. CB went in to see the movie. I went home and had a nice relaxing evening watching The United States of Tara. Good times!
