Casa De Mi Padre Movie Premiere Report! With Yet Another Will Ferrell Failure! But Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal Success! Autographs! Photos and More!

Sigh, man… There are some celebrities that just hate me… Yep, just me. One of them is Will Ferrell. I don’t know why. I’ve met him once before one on one, it was fine. After that.. No time for love Dr. Jones. It’s all been downhill… Man oh man… What can you do?

So, when I heard that the Case De Mi Padre premiere was going to be at the Chinese theatre, I decided to focus on getting Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal. Y Tu Mama Tambien is one of my favorite movies, and since they are not really in the U.S. all that often I had to try…

6:34 p.m. – I just arrived and there is literally no one here… I was able to get in the front row… Crazy.

6:36 p.m. – There are some people on the other side of the street waiting… But that’s five people deep.

6:41 p.m. – I have my stuff for Will Ferrell but I’m not holding out much hope. We have a bad history, lol…

6:45 p.m. – Scotty was here and then he had to leave and go back to Brentwood and now he’s coming back. He’s like five minutes away…

6:49 p.m. – Oh, and there’s Will Ferrell… We are all yelling for him…

and he stays across the street and signs for the looky loo’s waiting there… Is he going to cross?

Nope, because I’m here… But for Burlesque, he runs over and signs all over everyone’s Cher pictures… This is my luck with Will Ferrell…

6:50 p.m. – and Will Ferrell is done. Sigh… Scotty just texted me he’s on the other side waiting in the mess…

6:51 p.m. – This premiere is so lame they couldn’t even afford a sign for the marquee… Wow, classy.

6:54 p.m. – Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal just arrived together… Doh! They both are going over to the same spot will signed at. I’m running over there but they signed like seven each and are done… Doh…

7:01 p.m. – Well… that was fun… Sarcasm…

7:11 p.m. – Scotty and I are getting food. Mmmm Baja Fresh!

8:33 p.m. – Okay, so since I got shut out and Gael García Bernal looked at scotty’s DVD cover and said “I’m sorry I can’t I have to go.” We are waiting… on the other end…

8:43 p.m. – This is what sucks because people can go out so many different ways…

9:04 p.m. – We decide to move to the other end… We heard a rumor that the after party was upstairs so if we go on the other side then we will have a better shot…

9:11 p.m. – Pinky’s friend is here waiting for Kirsten Dunst… I think it’s going to break…

9:15 p.m. – People are leaving and I think we are in the right spot. Random people man…

9:21 p.m. – Pinky’s friend is holding one of my vintage magazines I have held onto forever for Gael García Bernal.

9:26 p.m. – There’s Gael García Bernal he’s leaving…

We ask him to sign and he signs Scotty’s DVD cover but refuses to sign the magazine… Seriously? That’s like crazy… Why would you not sign something that only a fan would have… I mean a dealer is not going to keep a magazine for 9 years… Ugh… It pisses me off..

9:29 p.m. – There’s Diego Luna.

He’s hyper nice and is more than happy to stop and sign for us.

I’ve always like Diego Luna and it’s really nice of him to stop for us.

Well, at least my Y Tu Mamá También mini poster is finished! It looks really cool. A long day, but I can’t really complain!
