CB Reports From The Dark Shadows Press Junket Where He gets to Meet Michelle Pfeiffer! Jackie Earle Haley! Eva Green! Chloe Moretz!

Here’s what I love. I’m getting home from seeing the Avengers and I get several text messages from CB saying “I got Michelle Pfeiffer” or “Michelle Pfeiffer is so nice.” Did Scotty or myself get a call saying, “Hey the Pfeiffer is here…” nope… Just the aftermath text saying how he got her. Nice huh… lol…

It’s fine, it’s just CB. LOL… He did give us a nice recap of what happened at the Dark Shadows press junket which is a nice taste of the madness that will be our Dark Shadows premiere coverage. War, I’m telling you.

Today is just one of those days, I truly love being a collector. No matter how low your expectations are, you can always surprise yourself. You see, about two weeks ago i found out about the Dark Shadows press junket. Its all great and dandy, but what i was expecting was to just get two people! My friend asked me, who are you expecting to get? I simply reply, Jackie Earle Haley and Chloe Moretz. The two nicer members of the cast and most likely to sign. I didn’t expect to ever see Johnny Depp or Tim Burton and was positive i wasn’t going to get Michelle Pfeiffer.  Well, sometimes I surprise myself! I did very well for expecting very little!

Billy Beer was supposed to be my Robin as I am Batman but sadly he took the day off. So, I’m stuck by myself . I arrive to the junket and miss everyone, but we spot one last arrival and its Michelle Pfeiffer. She completely ignores us and goes right inside. I’m okay with it, i didn’t expect to get her to sign anyways.

I have to wait around and it’s a constant running marathon going from front to back.  About an hour later, we see people start to leave. The first person i see leave is Jackie Earle who I was super excited to get! I love Watchmen and I was in the presence of Rorschach.

He signs my poster and then the really awesome comic Erica gave me!

I finally get a photo with him, and then out of nowhere, Eva Green leaves too. I finish up quickly with Jackie Earle and get Eva on my photo.

Another half hour later, Chloe Moretz leaves and signs for the two of us. I get my photo with her and she signs my poster. What happens next, I just can’t explain.

(Editor’s Note: But I sense you are going to, so technically speaking that means you can explain it… Just saying. 😉 M-)

An hour passes, and we spot Michelle Pfieffer. We ask her to sign, and yell “ONE EACH ONLY” and “ONLY SEVEN OF US” and she comes over and signs.

She only signs seven, counts them off and then leaves, but i get her on my poster.

Everyone is quite surprised, but I’m very happy. I’m 2 for 2 on Michelle Pfieffer!

(CB NOTE: Mike is like 1 for 8!)

(Editor’s Note: Actually as of right now, I’m 2 for 3 which is pretty damn good. M-)

Of course, we never see Depp or Burton leave, and I call it a day and head home very happy. Until next time, take care everyone!
