Party Time! With Lizzy Caplan! Mira Sorvino! Cary Elwes! Thomas Brodie-Sangster! Joey King! And More!
Emmy season is full of parties, sadly you just never know who is going to be where!
Scotty, Billy and I headed out to a few events. The first one was in the afternoon. Again, we have no idea who would be there, so I just packed a few things from some of the nominees.
We were packed in like sardines and in a crowded, hot sidewalk, it’s not always fun. Thankfully, the group here was pretty cool, so we were all working together for the most part.
The first person to come over was Laura Fraser who was in A Knight’s Tale and Breaking Bad. I got her on my Breaking Bad final season poster. she was super sweet.
the next arrival is actress Bailey Noble. She was very nice and signed for pretty much everyone.
The gold star of the day goes to Downtown Abby star Joanne Froggatt. I have to tell you, this woman is adorable and so frakkin nice. Seriously, one of the nicest people ever. I think she must have signed 100 photos. I don’t know why there were a hundred photos of Joanne Froggatt but there were.
Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka arrived and was so sweet. She’s always so nice. She came right on over.
Minnie Driver arrived and gave the “I smell a bad fart face” and ran inside.
People were leaving now, Lizzy Caplan who showed up and ran inside came right on over to sign. She was so sweet. Scotty yelled, “Janis Ian forever!” I had my Party Down mini poster.
Thomas Brodie-Sangster who I’ve been dying to get on my Maze Runner mini poster but more importantly my Love Actually poster, arrived. He didn’t even look over. Damn…
Joey King was leaving and was nice as ever. Such a sweetheart.
ROMY! Mira Sorvino showed up and of course I don’t have my Romy and Michele presskit. Ugh… She was so frakkin nice!
And then, there’s Cary Elwes, Do I have my Princess Bride mini poster? Nooooooo. Who would have thought Cary Elwes was going to show? Sigh… That kind of killed me!
Still I did get a horrible photo with him. LOL.
Extras star Stephen Merchant came over. Super nice.
And then Thomas Brodie-Sangster was leaving and he came over. Billy didn’t have anything and he got my Maze Runner mini poster signed. Thomas Brodie-Sangster has a really nice autograph. He signed my Love Actually mini poster. He wasn’t all about the signing, but he was cool enough to do it.
So, even though it wasn’t super star studded, I was so happy to add Thomas Brodie-Sangster to my Love Actually mini poster, it was the highlight of the day!
Until next time kids…

Oh, what a nice success! I’m really jealous on your Thomas Brodie-Sangster autographs! 😀 He’s on my most wanted list, I really hope to meet him one day. Glad to hear he signed and you got both of your posters signed.
Glad to hear Joanne Froggatt is nice in person. I didn’t like her character much in “Robin Hood”, but I did like her in “Downton Abbey.”
