Ace Yells! “It’s not rotten! It’s a good brain!” When He Meets Comedy Icon Cloris Leachman! Autographs! And More!

What’s up autograph fanatics! Ace here with my recap of meeting Cloris Leachman…
 
Now, as many of the writers at Mikethefanboy know, as well as many of the readers, I love to get the autographs of our living Hollywood legends…
 
Cloris Leachman represents a lifetime of comedy fit for two people. When I heard she was presenting an award at a local ceremony, I headed over in hopes to add her to my Young Frankenstein, History of the World, and my High Anxiety mini-posters.
 
I recently acquired several Mel Brooks’ autographs at the star ceremony for Paul Mazursky, so I have my heart set to get as much of the living cast from those movies. I know it will be a challenge, but I am up for it!
 
Regardless, I have loved Cloris Leachman’s work ever since I was a really young kid. I remember watching Young Frankenstein, History of the World, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Iron Giant, and Scary Movie 4 when I was much younger. History of the World: Part 1 was probably the first film I recall actually laughing out loud.
 
It was about seven o’ clock when Cloris arrived at the event. We were already there for an hour watching the red carpet take place…
 
 
As soon as she finished the carpet, she head right over to us! She was late for her presentation, but she took some time signing for us and was fashionable as ever!
 

While her publicists and assistants advised her not to, she went ahead and signed as much as she could anyway. Such a class act!
 

She looked amazing. She was an absolute doll! She cracked a few jokes and talked about Mel Brooks… She went down the line and took her time.  
 
Overall, it was a simple, but nice little event! I am super glad to add her to my collection!
