Give a God bless to Suddenly Susan, always up for a quest, Suddenly Susan headed out to meet comedian Dan Cook. Susan really wanted her Planes mini poster signed and was stoked to try and get a photo with him.
Susan put on her questing hat and headed out!
Check out her full recap below!
It hurts me a bit to write this, as my good pal Pinky has been burned by Dane Cook too many times. This was my third encounter with him and he’s always been really nice.
I went to a talk show taping for mark Duplass (you can read about that debacle tomorrow), but I brought a Planes 2 mini poster since chance favors the prepared autographer.
There were only a few people when Dane arrived and we shouted for him. He didn’t even turn around. In fact someone in his party looked back at us, tapped his shoulder and pointed to us, and he still wouldn’t turn around. Yikes!
Afterwards, when we were at about 11 people , including the tourists, Looky Lous and Paps, he came right over and greeted us all hello, and asked how we were doing.
I asked him to personalize my poster, which he happily did and then I got an awful photo with him. He looks good. I look like I’m sucking on a lemon.
One young autograph seeker also got a photo just before Dane left and he pointed back and asked “did you get it?” The kid replied “kind of”. Dane came over and said “let’s do it again”.
Really nice. (Sorry Pinkster!).
We thanked him and he said goodbye.
