I love the Wonder Years! Love it! The DVD’s are coming! Gosh, I can’t even believe it!

Anyway, Will, who we haven’t heard from in forever incidentally, headed out to meet none other than Danica McKellar herself! And she was super awesome! Plus, Will also met Candace Cameron from Full House! It was a 90’s lovefest!

Just like Mike The Fanboy, I am a huge Wonder Years fan and I enjoyed watching the TV show when I was a kid. When I heard that Danica McKellar aka Winnie Cooper would be on Dancing With The Stars this season I thought i’d head out to meet her.

I arrived around 12:00pm and the location is pretty hidden and low key. There were only 10 of us. Several were collectors and a few paps. It’s nice to get away from the usual Hollywood crowd for once.

We waited for Danica to come out of her rehearsal for Monday’s season opening show and around 1:38pm she comes out of the door! I asked for a photo op and she kindly comes over.

She was so nice and sweet. I told her that I am a big fan of The Wonder Years and that I can’t wait for the DVD’s to come out and she smiles and says thanks and gets a photo with me.


I rarely get autographs but I helped out a friend to obtain her signature and it looks nice.



About 2:32pm guess who else I met? Candace Cameron Bure aka D.J. Tanner from Full House! She is also nice enough to come over.


I decide to stick around and wait who else comes out the door and I got some pretty nice pictures with the professional dancers along the way. (Pictures coming soon!) I decide to call it a day around 4:00pm and go home a happy camper! Meeting both Danica and Candace in one day was like a blast from the past in the 90’s. Until next time!
