There are those days when luck is on your side as a fanboy, and then there are those days when all the odds are against you. The other day, luck was definitely on my side. It was a very exciting day as I went to a premiere for a new documentary called “Shot! The Psycho-Spiritual Mantra of Rock.” There were a number of people on the list whom I wanted to meet. I was able to meet and get signatures from Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics, Shepard Fairey, Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and director Jonas Akerlund. After this event, I went to a second event for DJ Steve Aoki. I arrived at the event, and about 10 minutes later, Steve exited the building. I was nervous that I had missed him. He kindly signed my poster. Thank you to all these artists who made my day and evening! It was a fanboy’s dream!
