End Of Watch Movie Premiere Report! With Jake Gyllenhaal! Anna Kendrick! Joe Manganiello! Autographs! Photos! Sexiness!

I wasn’t even sure I could go to this… I mean… You can only do so much! Plus, working in Santa Monica… Ugh… It just takes forever to get anywhere. So, when there was a power outage and I was able to work from home remotely for a bit it made getting downtown easier!

Today is the premiere for the new Jake Gyllenhaal film End of Watch. Now, I love me some Jake Gyllenhaal, but I wasn’t prepared for this one. So, I decided to grab my Jake Gyllenhaal magazine collection and my Pitch Perfect mini poster for Anna Kendrick. So, who knows… All we can do is hope for the best!

4:09 p.m. – I just arrived with my laptop. Scotty is here and grading papers. Honestly we got a spot right in front. There’s not a lot of people here shockingly. l really thought there would be Jake Gyllenhaal fans everywhere!

4:15 p.m. – I just realized… I’m frakkin’ starving! I’m going on a trek for some food. See we are in the cold cold land of downtown Los Angeles… The cold mean streets of downtown Los Angeles.

4:23 p.m. – There is this really good New York pizza place… Fuck that diet I suppose. They have this bomb pesto veggie pizza! Holy crap it’s amazing!

4:43 p.m. – Some girls are here and a few more people… But… honestly, it’s pretty damn calm. It’s oddly nice. I don’t have to kill someone or get killed for a signature? Where am I? Who is this? What is life?

5:11 p.m. – I can’t stop sneezing. I mean it’s like ridiculous. It’s downtown I tell you, the cold mean streets of downtown… The lights are not brighter here and to be quite honest I’m not forgetting all my troubles nor am I forgetting my cares… Another songwriter who lies… The first was the person who wrote Heaven Is A Place On Earth…. Guess what? It’s not. Damn you Belinda Carlisle! Damn you!

5:13 p.m. – I can’t damn Belinda Carlisle, she’s amazing. What was I thinking!

5:24 p.m. – The carpet is really lame, I know this is a small movie, but come on.

5:41 p.m. – Usually at this point I’m feeling some sort of anticipation but right now… I’m wondering why nothing is happening? Not even a lot of press.

5:53 p.m. – Thankfully, it’s a nice day… I have like seven magazines for Jake Gyllenhaal, but God bless… I’ll be lucky to get one or two as usual.

6:13 p.m. – Still nothing. There’s some stuff going on, some publicists on the carpet so hopefully, they are getting ready…

6:31 p.m. – Oh, some arrivals… It’s no one we need but at least it’s starting to FEEL like a premiere.

6:43 p.m. – Holy crap there’s Anna Kendrick! We are all calling for her and right on over she comes!

She’s so nice! Anna Kendrick signs and signs.

I have my Pitch Perfect mini poster out and she signs that along with my Vanity Fair cover as well.

She goes down the line pretty far, I think she makes it down to the end before heading back on over to the other side.

6:47 p.m. – It’s going to be a while before I get that Vanity Fair cover finished! LOL…

6:53 p.m. – Another car… Oh! It’s Jake Gyllenhaal!

He gets out of the car as everyone yells for him.

It looks like he is straightening out his suit

and then he crosses and comes over.

He’s very nice and signs and signs.

Sadly, he only hits our spot once, I get him on my Interview magazine but he signs for the crowd on the side and then come back and signs for them again but skips us! Doh…

Scotty and I run down to try and get him at the end.

6:54 p.m. – Jake Gyllenhaal continues to sign but stops three people away from where we are! Doh! At least I got the one!

7:08 p.m. – Since I don’t have anything for anyone else, we run over to the other side to see who is walking up. Who do we spot? True Blood star Joe Manganiello! Of course I don’t have any of my Magic Mike or True Blood stuff with me! Dammit! Ah well. I do get another photo with him though. He’s always nice.

7:11 p.m. – We cross back just as America Ferrera pulls up and ignores the crowd and goes right onto the carpet.

7:13 p.m. – Joe Manganiello comes across the street and signs for everyone and takes pics as well.

He’s such a nice guy. He pretty much makes it up and down the line.

It’s not even his movie!!

And that kids is that. I have to say the sky is beautiful right now!!!

Michael Pena did arrive but I didn’t see him. Even though I only got one Jake Gyllenhaal I’m still happy, because it’s a pretty nice signature. And you can’t complain about that! LOL…
