Fox Emmy Afterparty! With Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s David Boreanaz! Glee’s Lea Michele! Cloris Leachman! Modern Family Stars Eric Stonestreet! Julie Bowen! Ty Burrell! and More!

Okay, so I have this rule, and that rule is this… Stay home on any night that has an award show… It’s a true and simple fact, it seems like it would be amazing, All the stars out for one night! But truthfully… It’s a cluster… But for the 2011 Emmy awards I heard that some spots might be accessible… Oh, what’s a fanboy to do?

So, I sat there and debated, “Stay home and watch the show with my friends” or “go out and try and meet some people…” I debated of course as I boarded all my posters and such ready to go out… So… is that really a debate? hmmmmm….

The reason I went out was because I was told that the FOX party might be okay… Sigh… So, with the promise or Modern Family, Glee, Bones and more, I headed out… Saying to myself that I would only go for a couple hours… Uh huh…

8:34 pm. – So, the ceremony is over and I just found parking and arrived. There are a couple other collector’s here and some other random fans. John is here as well… I’m not sure if this will even be accessible…

8:45 p.m. – I was told that a few Glee kids were already in but no one came over to sign… I really want Martha Plimpton from Raising Hope, cause I love that show and she looks awesome tonight…

8:49 p.m. – There are a few Glee kids here… But no one will come over… That cast isn’t the nicest cast in the world so it’s not a huge surprise…

9:04 p.m. – I’m debating about leaving… But… I’m here… so…

9:06 p.m. – Mark Sailing came over for a second to sign, but I don’t have anything for him.

9:13 p.m. – Oh, there’s Lea Michele, everyone yells for her, and she says she will come over in a second… Wow… I’m a little shocked… Every time I have ever encountered Lea Michele she’s always been kinda nasty..

9:18 p.m. – Holy crap, sure enough Lea Michele is coming over! I have my Rolling Stone and GQ magazines as well as a Glee poster that need her on it. She is signing really fast but is still nice enough to actually come over…

9:19 p.m. – I get Lea on my Rolling Stone and then she heads back. It was quick but she did it.

9:22 p.m. – I should mention that the street is closed off, and it’s about the walk of two lanes of traffic.

9:28 p.m. – No one from Modern Family is here yet… hmmm….

9:39 p.m. – Oh, it’s Heather Morris, she’s leaving… Everyone yells for her and it looks like she’s about to get into her car, but then has a change of heart and comes over to sign. Again, I don’t need her, but I’m still happy for the others who did…

9:46 p.m. – Another car.. It’s Cloris Leachman! I love her! I know she’s always nice but just makes me love her more. Plus, she’s Beverly Ann Stickle…

9:47 p.m. – Cloris comes right over and signs autographs and does photos with everyone. I got her on my Raising Hope Emmy DVD promo. If you guys have not checked out Raising Hope, I highly suggest doing so.

9:49 p.m. – Cloris Leachman signs for a quite a while, and then heads in…

9:53 p.m. – Sofia Vergara just arrived and dashes across the street to avoid all the fans… It’s crazy. Half of the Modern Family cast is super nice, the other half… Ugh…

10:03 p.m. – Did I mention it’s pretty damn cold… Well… It is…

10:11 p.m. – Oh, Ariel Winter and Sarah Hyland just arrived. Sarah is the last one I need on my Modern Family cast photo (the first one I started). I do have three other Modern Family posters I’m working on… I love the show what can I say?

10:14 p.m. – Ariel Winter said she would sign after…

10:17 p.m. – Oh, Ty Burrell just arrived… he’s the Emmy winner for best supporting actor this year… He puts his Emmy down and runs across the street to sign and do photos with everyone… Dude, he’s super cool.

10:19 p.m. – I got Ty on two posters I had with me and got a photo with him. Super stoked!

10:24 p.m. – Oh, and there’s Ty’s co-star Mr. Eric Stonestreet… He yell for him and he comes right on over! Eric is again one of the nicest celebs and signs and signs. I got him on one of my posters and I got a photo with him as well.

10:34 p.m. – There’s Bones and Buffy The Vampire Slayer star David Boreanaz… We all yell for him but he just goes right inside…

10:39 p.m. – Oh, and there’s Martha Plimpton. I yell and yell for her… It looks like she wants to come over and I honestly believe that she would have but her dress was really long and the pavement was jagged. I think her people were afraid it would drag and get ruined… She literally debated about coming over for a few minutes… Ah well… Maybe on the way out…

10:47 p.m. – There’s another car… It’s Julie Bowen the other Emmy winner for Modern Family… She heads right onto the carpet…

10:54 p.m. – Julie is done with the carpet and we yell for her. Sure enough she comes right on over. So nice… She signs and signs… I got her on a couple posters and I think she pretty much hit everyone waiting for her…

11:02 p.m. – Sarah Hyland looks like she is leaving now… We all yell out for her, and she comes right on over. She literally comes right over to me an finishes my cast photo right away! YAY! My first Modern Family piece is done! Whew..

11:03 p.m. – Sarah Hyland continues to sign and I got her on my second and third cast pieces as well. She’s so nice! I can’t believe how nice half of this cast is. lol…

11:06 p.m. – I’m getting so tired… lol…

11:15 p.m. – Oh, it looks like Ariel Winter is leaving now… We yell for her, and her publicist says she has to leave. Ariel then argues with her because she promised us she would do it… lol… Awwwwwwwwww…

11:16 p.m. – Ariel comes right on over and signs up a storm… I mean like… She signs and signs and signs… I didn’t want to push it, and only got one thing signed… Ariel is always really nice so I’m sure I will see her again.

11:17 p.m. – A pretty nice night for some of the Modern Family people…

11:26 p.m. – I’m getting ready to go cause I have to work tomorrow. Then I spot someone going into their car. Is that Melissa Rauch? My friend yells out Melissa? She turns and waves and then we ask if we can get pictures with her. I love Melissa Rauch from The Big Bang Theory! She comes right on over and I told her how much I love Big Bang, and also True Blood. She is so so so so so adorable! I’m so excited!

11:34 p.m. – Okay, now I’m getting ready to pack it in…

11:45 p.m. – I’m about to head out, when I spy someone leaving on the other side… Holy shitcakes… It’s David Boreanaz… My friend described me as an animal eyeing it’s prey… lol… Hysterical… I was the only one to see him and then went over.

11:46 p.m. – I ask David if he would mind signing and he was like “sure man!” So, frakkin nice! He signed my Angel poster and then was waiting for me to pull out more. I didn’t bring much with me but I have the Comic Con poster for Bones. I told David how much I loved Angel and how it was one of my favorite shows. He was like, “Aw, man thanks.”

I think he had a little to drink, lol… Then everyone saw me getting David to sign and they ran over… Then had a bunch of crap to sign, and then I find my Bones poster… ah well… I pulled it out and he signed it in silver, but it kinda sucks cause you can’t really see it… Sigh… I have another I will probably try again…

So, it was worth it coming out… Not exactly Angelina Jolie and Tom Cruise, but still a bunch of really good people! I can’t complain at all!
