Wait… George Lucas Is Still Going To Be Heavily Involved With The New Star Wars Movies? Ugh! No More Jar Jar!
When George Lucas sold Disney the rights to Star Wars and there was word that George Lucas wouldn’t be heavily involved I thought that this could be a great thing for the franchise.
Now comes word that George Lucas is still going to be heavily involved in the franchise.
Jett, George Lucas son said “We knew probably a year prior [to the sale to Disney], he had started writing and researching, starting his whole little process,” in an interview with Flicks and the City.
“He’s constantly talking to J.J.,” he also said. “Obviously J.J. was handpicked. Lucas is there to guide, whenever, he’ll help where he can. At the same time, he wants to let it go and become its new generation.”
I mean I guess it makes sense since he started the whole thing, but after the craptacularness the “prequels” were, it just makes me scared that this is going to be more of the same. Ugh…
I have hope though, I like JJ a lot… I guess we shall see!

It is George’s creation, why wouldn’t he be involved?
Because he’s a hack that got lucky directing one decent film and then when he had the reins destroyed it!
If you understood what he created you would understand the concept of luck or the understanding that there is no such thing.
