Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters World Movie Premiere! Getting The Big Diss From Jeremy Renner & Gemma Arterton But Finally Meeting Famke Janssen Who I’ve Been Trying To Meet For SIX YEARS!

Man… I have to tell you, there are times when it just doesn’t pay to wait on Hollywood Blvd. Today is the Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters movie premiere and If it wasn’t for one person, I don’t think I would be at this premiere today. I’m not talking about Jeremy Renner… I’m not talking about Gemma Arterton… I’m of course talking about Famke Janssen!

I’ve been trying to meet Famke Janssen for oh… seven… Six… years? See, I have these awesome individual X-Men mini posters I’ve been dying to get finished. I have most of them done… Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Kelsey Grammer, Anna Paquin and they are all amazing, like personalized with inscription, full signatures, etc… So… I need Famke Janssen!

I do want to see the movie as well, but clearly this is my top priority. I do have a mini poster for Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters as well as some magazines for Jeremy Renner.

4:41 p.m. – I just arrived and let me tell you, there are six people here waiting.. SIX PEOPLE! WTF…

4:46 p.m. – I’m a little shocked I tell ya, a little shocked!

5:01p.m. – Everything is tented because of the rain. Scotty is supposedly on his way… Sigh..

5:34 p.m. – I’m talking to some nice guy from Canada, he came in for awards season. Canadians are so nice. God bless my motherland.

5:41 p.m. – Carpet is in 20 minutes and literally there are 10 people waiting. Ugh…

5:43 p.m. – There are two people walking down the street dressed the same. God love them…

5:51 p.m. – I bitch about how many people show up and when they’re not here I bitch. I think I need to find the happy medium. LOL…

6:09 p.m. – The carpet has started and nothing has happened. Yay?

6:14 p.m. – Scotty is here. And CB showed up as well.

6:21 p.m. – I think a car is here… It’s no one…

6:26 p.m. – Oh, a drop. It’s Jeremy Renner showing up with Gemma Arterton… We yell and yell, and yell… Jeremy Renner turns around and half waves. Then walks on the carpet. Wow… That’s too bad. I like Jeremy Renner and I’m sad to see him turning to the dark side…

6:34 p.m. – Still waiting for Famke… Sigh…

6:41 p.m. – Someone said that they saw Famke go in… Sadness… We didn’t even see her.. Ugh…

As Billy would write… MONTAGE!

8:30 p.m. – I’m just cutting to the end guys. Mike The Fanboy is tired. LOL… CB, Scotty and I are here and we’re waiting for the film to end. I’m really hoping that we see Famke!!!!!

8:41 p.m. – It’s actually a nice night. I love nights like this weather wise. I don’t like getting shut out of autographs!

8:59 p.m. – Someone is coming out behind us. Holy shit it’s Jeremy Renner. He’s bee lining it out and is ignoring everyone. I mean like flat out indignant ignoring. Damn, that’s really bad. It makes me so so so sad…

9:13 p.m. – People are all leaving. I’m totally focused on Famke Janssen, if she’s leaving this way I have to get her…

9:16 p.m. – Oh… Oh… Oh! There’s she is! Scotty and I are yelling our heads off. Like freaking out… Let me just tell you, Famke Janssen is so nice. She comes right on over and starts to sign autographs.

We keep yelling because sadly we got the wrong spot even though we thought it was the right spot. Doh… Famke Janssen’s publicist said, “don’t worry guys, we’ll make sure and get you.” I thanked her and sure enough Famke Janssen signed one each down the line.

She switched to silver for The Other Mike’s photo and signed Scotty’s poster in silver as well because he asked her to. Then I asked Famke Janssen to sign mine in gold because I saw that the silver wasn’t good. I also asked Famke Janssen to personalize my mini poster and let me tell you Famke Janssen was so nice.

9:20 p.m. – Scotty is upset because the silver on his poster isn’t that great. Sigh…

9:25 p.m. – There’s Gemma Arterton… She won’t even look at people. Man, I’ve tried to get her at the Prince of Persia premiere and one other time and every time… She’s nasty. ;/

here’s the issue. I got who I went for, and it’s stunning. I’m so happy. But not getting Jeremy Renner was a disappointment. So, I still feel like it wasn’t that great an evening… Hmmmm How does that work. If you get who you’ve wanted and who you’ve been wanting for seven years but miss the stars of the movie is it still a success?
