Manic Mondays! Pinky Phones Home After Meeting The Cast Of E.T.! Henry Thomas! Dee Wallace Stone! Robert McNaughton! And More!
I remember, like pretty much everyone E.T. It was a seminal film growing up in the 1980’s. In fact, I had an E.T. poster on my bedroom door, incidentally, it used to scare my next door neighbor which is probably why I refused to take it down for years. I’m just mean that way. I have another story about my neighbor and clowns but that’s for another time.
Pinky, loved E.T. as well, and over the years has been able to meet most of the cast including Henry Thomas! How awesome is that?
Check out this weeks Manic Monday below!
Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here still trying to recover from an incredibly fun and exhausting Emmys weekend. Once I get my pictures sorted, I’ll be sure to share some on the site. But before the Emmys happened, I had the opportunity to attend an awesome screening of E.T. put on by Street Food Cinema (if you haven’t heard of it and live in the L.A. area, I highly suggest checking it out!) where none other than Henry Thomas was the special guest!
Before the screening, Henry’s band, Farspeaker, performed and they’re really, really good. Apparently they perform fairly regularly around town, so be sure to follow them on Facebook to find out more about their gigs. I was so excited to meet Henry! What a great guy. Very down-to-earth and cool.
Not only did we get a picture,
but he signed our awesome artwork created by www.rainbowalternative.com that we have on our living room wall. I love how he drew an arrow on it! Too fun!
Previously I’d been lucky to meet Dee Wallace, who played the mom in E.T.,
as well as Robert McNaughton, who played the older brother.
I’d totally forgotten that C. Thomas Howell played one of their friends in the movie! Awesome!
Now, if I could just meet Drew Barrymore, my collection will be complete. Loved this film growing up and seeing it again just reminded me of how great it is. Thanks, Street Food Cinema for the experience!
