Throwback Thurs! Meeting Justin Timberlake! Amanda Seyfried! White Collar’s Matt Bomer! Mad Men’s Vincent Kartheiser! And More!

I was thinking of what to do for Throwback Thurs and I was like… Wait… I remember this one premiere that was so amazing!
The film maybe wasn’t as amazing but the premiere was pretty epic.

I’m heading out today to the premiere of In Time, the new Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried Sci-fi thriller. I’m holding out home that it will be good, but you know, I just don’t know… Anyway, what I do know is that I have a shit ton of stuff for Justin Timberlake and i have stuff for Amanda Seyfried and tons of people in the movie… So.. I’m crossing my fingers that this will be a good premiere… But sometimes you just never know.

4:10 p.m. – I had a Doctor’s appointment today so I’m just getting here now. CB was kind enough to hold me a spot. Also here today is Awesome Anushika and Scotty.

4:14 p.m. – I’m expecting a long day… But you just never know. The carpet is set up kind of strange, with large blocks that say “In Time” with the poster art on them…

4:23 p.m. – The car from the movie is on the carpet and it’s pretty cool. I really hope that this movie is good… Sigh…

4:31 p.m. – I’m smelling cookies… Ah the joys of having a premiere in Westwood…

4:37 p.m. – CB is whipping out yet another crappy pen. I grabbed it and threw it on the floor. A stranger just said, “Dude, pens are like a buck at Walgreens.” It’s sad when strangers have to tell you to get a new pen.

4:45 p.m. – Seriously? CB picked up the pen and it trying to use it. I grabbed it and give it to Anushika…

4:46 p.m. – Anushika is now physically taking the pen and throwing it away… sigh… CB needs new shtick…

5:01 p.m. – Scotty is on a stool behind us. lol… He brought a cd just Justin. I have two original rolling stone magazines for him. For Amanda I have a Mamma Mia poster, and my Big Love poster. I also brought a bunch of Big Bang Theory stuff for Johnny Galecki and anyone else from the cast who might show up.

5:21 p.m. – So close to starting but so far away…

5:24 p.m – It’s not super crowded yet… I’m shocked… hmmmmm

5:36 p.m. – One of the security guards has a pompadour and looks like Bruno Mars. Scotty and Anushika pointed it out… lol…

6:03 p.m. – We are all getting slightly slap happy. Anushika brought a Big Bang Theory photo for Johnny Galecki with an arrow where she wanted him to sign. LOL… We are now putting the arrow in cough… Cough… precarious positions… lol… God we are slap happy!

6:11 p.m. – I think Jim Parsons was the best… My humble opinion…

6:16 p.m. – There is an announcer here today… That’s kinda cool… Now at least we know who’s coming before they get out! LOL…

6:21 p.m. – They are talking about the first arrival… I think it’s going to be the director…

6:35 p.m. – yep, the director. They are bringing the stars of the movie in the cars from the film. That’s pretty cool.

6:41 p.m. – Oh, the first arrival is Vincent Kartheiser from Mad Men and Angel. The music is super loud…

6:43 p.m. – We finally get his attention and he comes right over… He is signing for pretty much everyone… Nice guy… lol… And he plays such a douche on Mad Men… Mad Men is one of my favorite shows ever!

6:44 p.m. – I got Vincent on my Mad Men cast photo and I got him to sign Anushika’s notebook. LOL… We can’t have Anushika get skipped now can we?

6:45 p.m. – Okay, I’m ready for more!

6:46 p.m. – Joey Lawrence is here… He comes over and signs for a second… That’s not what I was talking about. lol…

6:53 p.m. – Oh shit, the announcer chick just said this car is Amanda Seyfried’s! Crap I thought she would be one of the last people…

6:56 p.m. – Yep, there she is… Ms. Amanda Seyfried! God, she looks great… She poses with the car from the film, and then comes right on over…

6:58 p.m. – It’s not that crazy honestly, not like I’m used to…

Amanda is pretty much doing one per person, which I’m fine with. She’s coming our way… I pull out my Big Love poster and thank God she has a black pen cause it matches!

She signs the Big Love poster and then signs my Mamma Mia poster as well. She is so sweet to her fans…

7:01 p.m. – Amanda signs for most of the barricade… I’ve been or heard of many premiere’s where Amanda doesn’t cross the street but since this is Westwood I figured she would do it.

7:02 p.m. – Well, that’s a good start!

7:04 p.m. – The announcer said that Johnny Galecki is pulling in… Damn… I’m grabbing all my Big Bang stuff…

7:06 p.m. – There he is, we are all yelling for him, and he waves and then does a quick interview.

7:08 p.m. – Oh crap, Justin Timberlake is pulling up! The crowd is going nuts! Justin gets out of the car and heads over to the opposite end of the barricade. Ugh… Johnny Galecki is now on the carpet… Sigh…

7:09 p.m. – Kaley Cuoco just arrived… We are calling her over, and I think she wants to come over but her person pointed at Justin and said that since he’s there she can’t… Sigh… That sucks… Grumble…

7:11 p.m. – Justin is about halfway down the line now… Oh, another car is pulling up…

7:13 p.m. – Justin is getting closer and the announcer just said that Matt Bomer is pulling up…

CB is yelling for Matt and I told him to stop… I can just see Matt Bomber who I really like, coming over and then messing up our chances at Justin Timberlake.

7:16 p.m. – Oh, there’s Justin. I have my two magazines out…

It’s honestly not that crazy… Justin has a silver pen! What? That’s crazy! He did the whole line in a silver pen? huh…

7:17 p.m. – Justin is really nice, taking photos with people, signing a lot.

He signed both of my Rolling Stone magazines for me and I think Scotty got his as well. CB got like three… Crazy man…

7:22 p.m. – He does the full line… That’s very impressive… I wasn’t sure how cool Justin would be, but he’s super cool…

7:23 p.m. – Whew… I’m happy… YAY!

7:25 p.m. – Oh, and now the nicest celebrity I have ever met is coming over… Matt Bomer.

I’m a huge White Collar fan and Matt is like… Damn nice… Crazy nice. Above and beyond nice… Today is no exception.

7:26 p.m. – Matt signed my White Collar promo poster

and Scotty and Anushika helped me get some 8×10 photos done… Do I smell another contest? Hmmmm I think I do… I really do…

7:27 p.m. – Wow, Olivia Wilde just showed up.

She is crossing the street and signs like 9 autographs… Wow, she used to be so cool… Man oh man…

7:28 p.m. – Oh, there’s Kunal Nayyar… We call him over for a second. I got Kunal Nayyar on a promo emmy DVD laptop I have and a San Diego Comic Con poster as well.

Okay, that was a really good premiere… So stoked about Amanda and Justin… Totally awesome. A tad bummed about Johnny Galecki, but you know… He’ll be around. I’m very impressed with Justin and Amanda… Sigh… Good times…
