IZombie SDCC Cast Autograph Signing! Rose McIver! Rob Thomas! David Anders! Robert Buckley! And More!

Oh choices…

This year SDCC was a crazy pool of madness and I’m just getting started with more updates for you all.

First, I wanted to share my signing recap for the new CW series IZombie brought to you by Rob Thomas the man behind Veronica Mars.

Who doesn’t love the Mars right? I have high hopes for this series and based on the short part of the pilot I saw it looks good!

In the morning I had a choice between IZombie or Game of Thrones for the raffle and yes I was the only person in the first section to pull for IZombie. As a huge Veronica Mars fan, I had to right?

After camping out all night for a raffle chance, I pulled and got… A losing ticket. The folks at WB felt sorry for me, as everyone was pulling for Game of Thrones and here I was the only person who cared about this small show and I got a dud.

They took pity on me and gave me a wristband anyway, thanks to some prodding by Billy Beer and a sense of desperation and loss coming from every pour in my being.

Woo to the hoo!

The signing was right in the morning so I bolted down to the WB booth, when I say bolting I mean I made my way through the Darth Vader’s and crazy people running around for exclusive toys.

First up, was Rose McIver and she was so cute. We talked for a second about how the brains are made and how much she loved Veronica Mars. She did say that the pilot wasn’t finished yet, which is why they didn’t screen it.

David Anders was also at the signing and he was super cool as usual. Alias is one of my favorite shows, and it’s always a pleasure to get to talk to him.

Also at the signing were Robert Buckley, Rahul Kohli, Malcolm Goodwin, Diane Ruggiero and Rob Thomas himself.

I talked to Rob briefly and told him I was a Veronica Mars backer and what a huge fan I was and how excited I am for IZombie. He seemed stoked and was very nice as usual.

While there wasn’t a lot of time to talk, it was cool to get a short meet and greet with the cast before the series comes out!
