Jane Morgan Walk Of Fame Ceremony! With Sharon Stone! James Caan! Tony Danza!

The awesome Anushika has just sent in this awesome article! I personally love going to the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies. They just have so much tradition and that classic Hollywood style. This week the legendary pop singer and musical theatre actress Jane Morgan is receiving her star on the Walk of Fame. There are many guests expected to attend including Sharon Stone, Tony Danza, James Caan and more!

Anushika decided to go down to Jane Morgan’s Walk of Fame ceremony with her trusty autograph book.

I was looking forward to a relaxing day when I found out that Tony Danza, Sharon Stone and James Caan were going to attend Jane Morgan’s Walk of Fame Star Ceremony. I wasn’t planning on going since I’m not too familiar with her music, but after hearing about the guest list, I just had to. I Love Tony Danza!!! =D and thought it would be pretty Awesome to see Sharon Stone and James Caan.

9:35am- I just arrived at the location, and it’s pretty empty. No one is here and the crew is still setting up. I start walking around to kill some time.

10:30am- Wow, it’s still empty! The set-up is done, but I don’t see any waiting fans. I hate being the first, so I’m looking around to see any familiar faces. YES!!!! I see a friendly face….

10:35am- It was easy to get a good spot. A few people started gathering near the barricade.

11:00am- Guests started arriving. I’m having trouble recognizing anyone. It was a pretty senior crowd. You get the feeling that they are well known people who rocked Hollywood before my time….so having a hard time recognizing anyone lol…

11:10am- George Schlatter and Jolene Schlatter arrive to the ceremony.

11:15am- I see a lady in a hot pink summer dress and pumps… OMG Sharon Stone!!!! =D She looked really sweet and pretty. Finally a face I was waiting for, now I’m Excited! ^_^

11:20am: Surprisingly I see Jane Morgan walking over with her daughter and husband, Jerry Weintraub.

11:25am- Just saw Linda Thompson and Johnny Mathis. We called out for Johnny and with some help from the guests, we managed to get him right on over to the barricade! =) He was really nice and took his time signing a couple autographs. He left saying he has to work on the speech, so I guess he is one of the speakers in the ceremony.

11.30am- A lot of guests. The place is filling up and even the barricades are crowded now. I see Carol Bayer Sager and James Caan among the guests, but still no Tony Danza. The ceremony begins.

11:35am- All of a sudden I started hearing a marching band. I’m like…what’s going on??? It’s the USC marching band!!! =D They are marching down Hollywood boulevard. I guess that’s Jane’s grand entry! Lol… Awesome!

11:40am- TONY!!!!! =D I Finally see him in the crowd!!!! YAY!!!!!

11:45am- Johnny Mathis and Jerry Weintraub honored Jane Morgan with a Lovely speech and Jane did what she does Best on stage……She sang an impromptu song to the audience!!!! ^_^ Amazing and Beautiful!!!

12:15pm- The ceremony just ended. Time to get Tony’s attention! Lol…Of course it’s never easy. The band started playing again and I could barely hear my own thoughts!!! =D NO!!!!!

12:20pm- We try to call out for Sharon since she was sitting right in front of us, but security quickly escorted her away. Dammit! Now I see James and Tony together, but none of them are acknowledging us. The band is still playing….they seriously need to stop! Lol…

12:30pm- Some people called Linda Thompson over and she was more than happy to come over. She was telling us how hot it is and that she is glad she wore an “airy” dress lol… =D We told her to ask Tony to come over. I was not going to let him go that easily! I mean he was just chilling in front of us and was in no hurry. The band finally stopped!

12:35pm- We lost James Caan. He is nowhere to be seen. Guess he snuck out. We kept calling Tony. I saw him looking at us a several times. He just kept smiling and waving.

12:40pm- The crowd is pretty much gone, but my eyes are still on Tony since he is STILL HERE! My mission is SO NOT Over!

12:42pm- OMG!!!! Tony is coming over!!!!!! =D YAY!!!!!! He started signing and of course all the autograph dealers just appeared out of thin air lol… Tony didn’t look too happy to see them, so he signed very quickly and headed back. I guess he was avoiding the dealers. Anyway, he was really nice and I was Totally Happy!!!! ^_^

12:45pm- Jane and Jerry were leaving. We called out for Jane and she actually came over! She is such a Sweet Lovely Lady! =) Even Jerry started signing. I LOVED getting full signatures from everyone today. A really nice change from the short initials I usually get.
It was a great day. I’ve been to a fair share of star ceremonies and this was the first with a whole marching band, signing, and a guest list filled with so many Walk of Famers! =)
