Jekyll or Hyde! Remembering A Time When Jane Lynch Was Nice! Chris Colfer Was Friendly! And The Cast Of Glee Was Awesome! Autographs! Photos! And Glee-Ful Tidings!

Ah, it’s so fun to look back. It’s even really fun to pull up a time when someone is super nice! Especially when you flash forward to 2012 and they are so mean you don’t even want to approach them!

Okay, this should be a fun day. Outfest is showing the second episode of the new FOX series Glee at the Director’s Guild and the cast and creators are coming. Both Erica and I have an Entertainment Weekly magazine with the ads for Glee on the inside promoting the show. There really isn’t a lot of promotional stuff out there yet for the series so this is the best we could do.

12:01 p.m. – Erica and I just got perhaps the worst Wendy’s ever! My chicken sandwich tastes like crap, and my Coke tastes like blueberries… I kid you not! Blech… I like Blueberries but not in my coke! Sigh…

12:08 p.m. – Today is a showing of the second episode of Glee and I have to say, I love this show, it could be a huge hit. Most of the creators are going to be here along with some stars of the series including Jane Lynch. Jane starred in A Mighty Wind, 40 Year Old Virgin, and tons of movies. She is hysterical! I brought my 40 Year Old Virgin poster for her, and also my Role Models poster as well.

12:11 p.m. – There are only a couple other people here, and no barricades so this should be an easy event.

12:19 p.m. – Dear God it is hot outside. I mean really hot!

12:28 p.m. – Every event I have been to at the Director’s Guild has been great so hopefully this will not be the exception!

12:29 p.m. – Oh, one of the stars of the show Matthew Morrison just arrived. He’s very cool, and signs for everyone here. He is quite gracious.

12:35 p.m. – There’s another car, oh, it’s Jane Lynch. She is super cool. She signs for everyone, and I got her on my Role Models poster as well as my 40 Year Old Virgin poster.

She is very nice, and polite.

12:39 p.m. – Chris Colfer, one of the series stars just got here. He has a crappy signature, but who am I to judge. He again was so nice and friendly.

God, I wish all events could be like this. Events like this are examples of how great it is to get cast members from a show before it blows up to be huge. Because once a show blows up, people tend to get a little harder to get.

12:43 p.m. – The male lead Cory Monteith just arrived. He is the main singer you hear in the Itunes songs from the show. He is quite nice, although he said something about not signing Erica’s poster because he wasn’t in it. She asks him politely and he does it, and signs mine as well.

12:45 p.m. – I can’t believe he wasn’t going to sign Erica’s poster! LOL…

12:55 p.m. – Three of the creators have arrived now, and we asked them to sign our posters as well. I know a lot of people don’t always get the creators, writers, etc… But I like it, because they really are the heart and soul of a show.

1:10 p.m. – The lead girl in the show, Lea Michele, is a no show which is a bummer. Oh well, maybe we can get her at comic con.

This was such a fun easy day. I love it when events are this simply and not the exhausting debacles we seem to run into all the time. There was no pushing or shoving just a fun easy day. Good times! One of the reasons I always love getting a cast before they hit it big!

On this day, the verdict was definitely Dr. Jekyll!!
