It’s Throwback Thursday, and I thought I would try and find something spooky and scary since tomorrow is Halloween… Well… The closest thing I could come up with was a fun Flashback with Kristen Stewart. Who… Can be scary and spooky.
This was back when Twilight was just coming out and Kristen Stewart was doing a talk show taping.
It’s a fun moment!
Check out it!
Erica and I have a little time to kill today, so we decided to head over to my favorite alley to stand around in the cold for fun. Actually, we are standing in the cold to try and get Ms. Kristen Stewart of Twilight fame to sign our mini posters. We are both planning on being surrounded by “Twilighters” and it might get a little crazy, but I guess we shall see.
6:15 p.m. – We are late, ugh… Los Angeles traffic! A friend of mine said that Kristen signed up a storm on the way in, and generally speaking when someone signs on the way in, they usually don’t do it on the way out, but we’ll see.
6:19 p.m. – Erica and I both have our mini posters that we got at the San Diego Comic Con last year. We both tried to get into the cast signing that they did there, but that was an insane madhouse, so it never happened. Doh!
6:26 p.m. – There are about 15 people here or so. There are a couple girls who were here in the beginning and they confirmed that Kristen signed for like 15 minutes or so, which is a really long time. I know my friend said he got like 14 things signed, so I kinda doubt that she will come over again, but it never hurts to try.
6:42 p.m – It’s getting kinda chilly out, Erica is holding the posters so at least I can keep my hands warm a little!
6:49 p.m. – Oh, there’s Kristen, she came out and ran around the corner for a quick smoke break. I got a little video of her walking around the corner, but it’s pretty far away, lol.
6:55 p.m. – Kristen is here promoting her new film Adventureland which comes out next week. There is a little bit of a tiff going on between a couple of the other collector’s here but it’s quickly resolved. We are in the “second row” behind the barricades which can be good, but can also suck because I like being in the front.
7:07 p.m. – One of the girls to the right of me recognizes me from Comic Con last year. That’s a pretty good memory, cause lord knows I can’t remember what I just googled let alone someone I met in line last year!
7:19 p.m. – Standing in a crowd like this is kinda fun, cause you have the basic collector’s and the fans intermingling together. A lot of people have joined in the crowd now, and they seem like the basic Twilight fans. I refer to them as Twilighters.. lol… Yes, I coined my own phrase! What can I say standing in a dark alleyway gives you a lot of free time to think!
7:22 p.m. – The taping began around 7 so she should be coming out at anytime. Erica and I are trying to get our silver pens working, but out of my six and her two, none of them are very good… grrr… I hate silver sharpies and I love them at the same time..
7:38 p.m. – Oh, Kristen is coming out. It looks like she is handing her purse to her handler and coming over again. I have to say I have heard she was difficult so this is quite rare her coming by twice.
7:40 p.m. – Kristen is starting at the front and her people said she would do the full line. She is posing for pictures with fans, and pretty much signing everything put in front of her.
7:48 p.m. – She is coming around to our side now. Erica finagled her way in and got her to sign her twilight poster in silver. I still haven’t gotten mine done yet.
7:49 p.m. – Finally Kristen gets my poster and… she signed it in blue sharpie on the black part of the poster. You can’t even see it! Dammit…
7:52 p.m. – I’m starting to worm my way down the line and i’m going to try and get her on my poster in silver. I got in the front and borrowed this nice young ladies silver pen. I asked Kristen if she would mind signing my poster in silver, and she looked at me strange and was like.. “Okay.” So, now I have her twice on the same poster, one where you can see the signature and one you can’t lol… Hey, I’m very happy she was willing to sign the poster again, and it came out great!
