Manic Mondays! Does Pinky Love SNL? Sha-yeah Right! Meeting Mike Myers Twice In One Week! Autographs! Photos! SNL Goodness!

Pinky loves her Saturday Night Live, and when I say “loves” I mean LOVES Saturday Night Live… I’ve never met anyone who loves the sketch comedy series more than her. And I was 1. jealous she was able to attend the Wanes World reunion and 2. super excited for Pinky to finally meet Mike Myers!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy here still loving the fact that I finally have pictures with both Wayne and Garth from Wayne’s World. I’m so stoked! Now, I told you about the Wayne’s World panel the other day, and I know I tell you about my love for SNL all the time, but what you might not know is that I have a bit of an “SNL Dream Team Bucket List” for all the incredible cast members from SNL – especially the ones from when I was younger.

Sure, I still watch SNL today and have been thrilled to meet the new cast, as well, but in my opinion there was nothing like the Mike Myers/Dana Carvey era of SNL. Slowly but surely over the years I’ve been adding to my collection one by one…the last remaining three were Dana Carvey, Dennis Miller, and, finally, Mike Myers. I didn’t really think they’d ever be around or accessible, but, thankfully, I was wrong. And with my latest “bucket list” score of Mike, I’m even more jazzed!
 
Sadly, my picture with Mike was a wee bit blurry (she says, weeping, since, in fact, it was a whole hell of a lot blurry).

I tried to color it.

I tried to make it black and white.

I tried to sharpen it.

Still, it’s Mike Myers, it was my final “bucket list” member, I’m happy. I can’t complain, right? Well, as luck would have it, I was attending an AFI event in Hollywood last night and who should be there? Mike Myers himself (sch-wing!). Not only that, but he was super nice and totally fine about posing again. And it’s not blurry! Happy days are here again! As an added bonus, the woman photobombing me in the background has the most hysterical face EVER! I realize I could blur her out, but why? That’s too funny to pass up!
 

Thank you to Mike Myers for being amazing and completing my “SNL Dream Team Bucket List.” I’m a happy pink-loving girl.
