Manic Mondays! It’s Pat! Pinky Meets Saturday Night Live Star Julia Sweeny! SNL Madness! Autographs! Photos! And More!

Pinky loves her Saturday Night Live people! Just loves them! When she heard that Pat herself was doing a rare book signing so Pinky just had to try and go ahead and meet her.

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy here excited to have met another amazing member of Saturday Night Live and this one, quite possibly, might the luckiest one out there because she was able to work with ALL the greats: Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, Adam Sandler, David Spade, Kevin Nealon, Phil Hartman, Rob Schneider, Chris Farley, Norm MacDonald and Dennis Miller, just to name a few. As one of the few women cast members at the time, she was able to star against some of my favorite comedians ever. I’m so jealous!

Not only did she work regularly with some of the greats, but she was able to work next to whoever was hosting that week. One of my all-time favorite skits was with her and Nic Cage where his name was “Aswipe Johnson” – “It’s pronounced OS-WEE-PAY!” It still cracks me up to this day.

And who can forget Julia’s most remembered role of the gender neutral, Pat?

I was dying to ask her to tell me if Pat was a boy or a girl when I met her. Do you think she would’ve told me?? 

Last week Julia was in town to promote her latest book, “If It’s Not One Thing, It’s Your Mother”

and before the signing started I was thrilled to meet her briefly and get a quick picture.

She was super nice and loved my camera – in fact, our conversation turned to my camera, so I totally forgot to ask her about Pat. Fail! Oh, well. Maybe next time!
