Manic Mondays! Pinky Meets Her Girl Crush! Sexy License To Drive Star Heather Graham! Oh La La Girl Crushes!
I have to tell you, I love License to Drive. I know, I know… It’s a guilty pleasure and to be honest one of my favorite, “Corey” movies. I even went to the high school where they filmed the movie at. Yes, color me a dork.
But.. That’s what we’re all about here right? RIGHT! Let’s face it, if I wanted to be “cool” I would have played hockey back in Michigan instead of joining the drama club! (funny side note, I actually did both but I’m digressing)
Anyway, Ms Pinky loves her some retro Corey action, however she also loves the female star of License to Drive, Ms. Heather Graham!
Check out her meet and greet for this weeks Manic Monday!!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy here excited to have finally met the girl who – for all practical purposes – was my first “onscreen girl crush.” Seriously, who didn’t have a crush on Heather Graham?
When I first saw her onscreen as Mercedes Lane in License to Drive, I thought she was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen. I loved her chemistry with “The Coreys” and her hair was magical. I wanted to grow up and BE Mercedes Lane.
Over the years I’ve enjoyed watching her on everything from Boogie Nights to Emily Reason’s Why Not (why did that get cancelled??) to The Hangover. I still think she’s the cutest thing on earth and have heard that she was super nice, but I’d never had a chance to meet her.
That is, until last week when I attended the Opening Night of The Book of Mormon at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood, talk about a star studded event! The list was amazing and I saw so many stars it made my head spin. Simon Baker, Christina Hendricks, Julie Bowen, John C. Reilly, Cher, Ali Larter, Beth Behrs, Lisa Kudrow, and Claire Forlani just to name a few. Still, on the top of my list? Heather Graham. I know, I know, but to meet Mercedes Lane in person was just going to make my day!
Sadly I didn’t see her on the red carpet or on the way inside. I started to worry when I didn’t see her at intermission, but my friend told me right before the play ended that she was there. Thankfully I was able to see her on her way out of the theater and she was kind enough to stop and pose for a picture. Hooray! Of course, I’m not sure why she thinks that’s a great pose for her face, but no matter. It’s Heather Graham! Hooray!
