Manic Mondays! You Wouldn’t Like Pinky When She’s Angry! But You Would Like To Hear About When She Met The Incredible Hulk Star Lou Ferrigno!
You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry…
For today’s Manic Monday, the adorable Ms. Pinky is talking about meeting The Incredible Hulk star Lou Ferrigno! Now, Lou Ferrigno has been doing the convention circuit for years but you know he is super nice guy.
The Incredible Hulk has been a vintage mainstay on television for years and there are generations of kids much like myself who grew up with his show. It’s always amazing to me when you can meet someone who you have watched for years.

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy here wiped out completely from a fun day spent at the Hollywood Show. While I always enjoy going to the show, this time I was particularly excited to see Keith Coogan again. (Wait. What? This article isn’t about that. I apologize. I’m getting distracted…..).
Let’s try that again: This time I was particularly excited to meet Lou Ferrigno. How could I not be excited for the original Hulk?
Now, I’m not sure what “The Hulk” eats for breakfast, but he looks amazing. I dare say he looks even younger than he did when he was “King of Queens.”
Seriously. Impressive genes for sure! Sadly he’d just had surgery, so his arm was in a sling – and seeing a broken down Hulk was kind of strange to see.
Growing up, I loved watching the TV show “The Incredible Hulk.” Lou Ferrigno played the perfect Hulk – aka the side of Bruce Banner who turns into a monster when he gets angry. It was so much fun to watch as a child and I’m sure it’s the role he’s best known for.
Still, I enjoyed Lou’s role on “King of Queens” almost just as much, as he played a self-deprecating and hilarious version of himself. It showed audiences that he had a sense of humor and that he wasn’t always so angry.
In person, Lou was very cordial and polite. As he was way too tall for me to take my own picture, my friend had to take the picture for us. So cool to meet him! I hope his arm heals quickly.
