Marky Mark Wahlberg Gives Billy Beer Some Good Vibrations After Signing Autographs For Fans! A Truly Awesome Guy! Photos! Signatures!

Give a God Bless to Marky Mark… I mean he’s the man. Seriously. Such an awesome dude. I have a cough… cough… fanboy fail for friday that involves the Markster… We’re cool like that.. I can call him the Markster…

Welcome back to Billy Beer’s Barstool.  Make sure you have a tight grip on your drinks today, the earth is shaking!  And it’s not from the typical California earthquakes, these are the “Good Vibrations” from the one and only Mark Wahlberg.  See what I did there, made a comment using a Marky Mark lyric????  I’m just livin on the “Wildside”  Do dodo do do dodo (key change) do dodo do do dodo dooooo!  Mark is out promoting his new movie Broken City, plus probably 15 different shows he’s producing.  Dude is like the ryan secrest of movies and GOOD TV shows, except he would kick your ass!  Mark was going to be in Hollywood a for a few days, so I had a few opportunities to get him.  Here are 2 of those times.

I didn’t have to work till late on day one, so I got a chance to try and get Mark at one of the many talk shows he’s going to this week.  We get there kinda early even though he “always show up late” – C.B.  There are already people here, but not really a big crowd.  Some people have albums, others dvd’s.

We wait for a while.  It was a little cold that day. 

So after waiting and waiting, I’m starting to think he’s already in there.  So we wait some more, with people mentioning they can’t believe how late he is. C.B. does a leap in the air scaring the crap out of a guy cause he thought it was Mark.  Actually, the show should have already started, so I think they’re starting to figure it out.

Finally it’s time to start thinking about people leaving.  We see the SUVs are all lined up ready to take their celeb home.  We see a couple of people getting into the first SUV.  Pretty sure it’s Mark.  As he drives up, he rolls the window down and people start to mob him.  I don’t really have the best spot, but I am able to get my pictures in the window for him to sign. 

He’s a machine, signing as my as he can.  People are starting to push on his car which he is not very happy about.  He tells us he has to go about 5 times, but keeps signing.  Which to a lot of people means keep sticking your shit in his face. 

I already got 3, and didn’t really have anything else ready or boarded, so I backed off.  The graphs weren’t great, but what do you expect in that instance. 

I must say though, the dude ALWAYS signs.

Day one is over, now on to day two.  I knew Mark was going to be on at least 2 shows today.  I decided to just worry about the second one.  The security at the first place has been pretty strict.  I haven’t had a problem with them, but other people have.  After the last show he was on yesterday, C.B. and I decide to get there a little bit earlier just in case.  C.B. dropped me off and he went to park the car.  After about 30 minutes people who saw him at the first place are starting to arrive.  They said he signed about 10 graphs.  Not bad, I’ve seen a lot worse.  They usually try to rush them out of there anyway.  Next thing I know, about 15 minutes later, people are rushing over cause they saw his SUV.  WOW, dude is REALLY early.  I try and call C.B., but he is enjoying a Whopper at the time.  Mark looks over to the about 15 of us yelling his name and walks over.  He didn’t seem very excited to do it, but as I said, dude ALWAYS signs.

As he’s going down the line we found out why he wasn’t too happy.  He was calling out people that followed him, and were on his car.  Wow! 

(Editor’s Note: I wouldn’t be happy either! M-)

This guy has a great memory. 

He was only signing one each, but was taking a few pictures too.  I was last to get something signed, and then he took a pic.

There were a few fails this day too.  Naomi Watts stiffed 2 of us.

But I was happy to see Mark hadn’t changed.  Still a top ten guy!  Gotta Go, it’s Happy Hour Somewhere!
