Mary Louise Parker Goodness! Meeting The Weeds Star At Her Book Signing For Dear Mr. You! Autographs! And More!

Everyone knows how much I love me some Mary Louise Parker. Weeds is one of my favorite shows of all time and Mary was excellent at Nancy Botwin!

Now, Mary Louise Parker has written a book titled, Dear Mr. You. She had a Live Talk and Scotty and I headed down.

The talk was really good. Mary did a quick reading from her book, and then chatted about the literary process. The book is written as letters to people in Mary’s life and is extremely interesting. There are letters to different men, some important others like a cab driver Mary was once rude to.

Something I didn’t know, was that Mary was very sick this year. I was so shocked because this is the first time I heard of it. She was hospitalized and it seemed very life threatening.

Mary was so cute on the stage worrying about people not being able to see in fact. It was a really nice talk.

Sadly, the people running the event were not so nice.

After the talk, Mary Louise Parker came out for a book signing. The people running the event were so rude, they kept yelling, no photos and keep it moving. Good lord, calm down.

We were coming up and even though the event people were trying to usher people through super fast, Mary was trying to talk to everyone. I got to talk to her for a second and told her how much of a fan I was. I asked if I could get a quick photo, and Mary was like, “Of course, come here!”

More than nice!

This was my last event of 2015 so it was great that it was with Mary Louise Parker!
