Manic Monday! Pinky Joins The Hateful Eight After Meeting Jennifer Jason Leigh! Weeds Goodness!

Jennifer Jason Leigh is one of the best and most interesting actresses ever! She’s been in so many awesome films! Single White Female, Fast Times, The Hateful Eight, Dolores Claiborne, and of course Weeds.

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here still excited about finally meeting someone I’ve wanted to meet for as long as I can remember. From the very first time I saw Jennifer Jason Leigh onscreen, I knew she was something special.

What an incredible actress! I’ve never seen anything she’s done where she hasn’t totally owned every single role and stolen whatever scenes she’s in. Jennifer has the ability to be vulnerable, tough, snarky, sweet, and innocent at any given moment.

I loved her in Weeds

and especially in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

I was thinking of making this post into a tribute to that movie, but I’ve only met Jennifer and Robert Romanus (who played Mike Damone in the film) from the main cast (aside from a few who were bit players in the movie), so it wouldn’t be much of a tribute.

Still, Jennifer was totally adorable and super kind when I met her. Keith says she’s the standout from The Hateful Eight and I can’t wait to see it. Jennifer has been nominated all over the place for her role in the film and I’m so happy to see her get the recognition she deserves. Congratulations, Jennifer!
