Throwback Thursday! Meeting Miss Congeniality Herself Sandra Bullock! And Bradley Cooper! Autographs! And More!

There’s very few people I love in Hollywood more than Sandra Bullock. She’s a tough autograph to get however, and let me tell you… I’ve had a lot of hit and miss luck with her.

“Sandy… Can’t you see…? I’m in misery… You broke my heart now we’re apart there’s nothing left for me.” Why is it, even when I type song lyrics I still can’t sing? I think I have a problem and it’s being tone deaf, sigh… anyway, I’m off once again and this time it is for… wait for it… drum roll Ms. Sandra Bullock! I guess that explains the song lyrics, that and my friend Annette keeps texting me quotes from “Grease” but that’s a whole other column. Today is the premiere for “All About Steve” Sandra Bullock’s new movie also starring Bradley Cooper. I have tons of crap for Sandra so let’s all say a prayer she is feeling generous!

4:15 p.m. – I just got arrived in the heart of Hollywood.

4:22 p.m.- I brought my “While You Were Sleeping” laserdisc, my “Miss Congeniality” UK mini poster and my “Speed” UK mini poster as well. Will I get them all done.. eh… I dunno, Sandra has been a tough one to get lately, so you just don’t know.

4:39 p.m. – I was just telling a friend that I haven’t heard a lot about this movie, and she said that her mother heard about it. Her Mom rocks so it’s no surprise that she’s down with the movie biz. Go MOM!

4:44 p.m. – A lady just walked by with the smallest thong and the largest waistline you will ever see! Someone just got a pic of her butt and put it as their Blackberry screensaver. Welcome to Hollywood.

5:01 p.m. – One nice thing about coming late to something like this is you get to arrive just as the action starts and then go home. Whoo Hoo!

5:07 p.m. – I really hope that Sandra comes over, the last, well the only other time I met her she wasn’t the nicest so I’m hoping that this time she’s a lot cooler.

5:22 p.m. – Oh, the press just got shoved into their pens. Lol… That’s always a good sign things are going to start happening.

5:38 p.m. – I’m having a debate with Janna about which season of “Alias” I disliked more season 3 or season 4… I’m going with three.

5:55 p.m. – They did not close off any of the street for this premiere so it’s kind of a crap shoot as to who will cross. I did bring my “Hangover” poster for Bradley Cooper in case he crosses. I heard he’s super cool, so I kind of expect him to do it… but Sandra on the other hand…

6:03 p.m. – Okay it’s after six, and…nothing… 

6:19 p.m. – Oh a car just pulled up… It’s Bradley Cooper! He’s smiling and waving. He seems very nice. He’s heading over to cross the street.

6:25 p.m. – He is spending so much time on the line. Taking pics, and personalizing autographs even. That’s so rare at a premiere. You never see that.

6:33 p.m. – I just got him on my “Hangover” poster. I had him personalize it… Hey, at least we got something right?

6:35 p.m. – Oh, Sandra just arrived. The crowd went nuts! She didn’t even turn to look at anyone and headed right into the press line. Dude, that sucks.

6:40 p.m. – Bradley Cooper is still signing away down the line. God bless him.

6:49 p.m.- The crowd is still yelling for Sandra, and will she turn around… nope… in her defense everyone else is shouting for her as well on the photo line so I guess you can only hear so much.

6:55 p.m. – Bradley Cooper is still at it folks… yes, the man is still signing and taking pics with people.

7:04 p.m. – The crowd is now chanting for Sandra, her publicist motioned that she will come over after she finishes the press line.

7:15 p.m. – Bradley Cooper just finished signing for the crowd. The man spent almost an hour signing and taking pics with people. Other celebrities should take a hint from him. That was super cool.

7:22 p.m. – We’re still waiting to see if Sandra will come over… still waiting…

7:35 p.m. – Thomas Haden Church just arrived and flew threw the press line not even looking over at anyone. Wow, very interesting.

7:44 p.m. – The press is packing it in…. sigh… I’m about to give up hope… no Sandra Bullock today… ah well… I guess there will be another day…

7:53 p.m. – Wait something is happening…. Holy shit, Sandra Bullock just darted through the press line and is crossing the street.

The crowd is going crazy! I gave my laserdisc to M’Lou and I have my “Miss Congeniality” poster at the ready. I can’t believe she’s actually doing it.

8:02 p.m. – She’s making her way down the line.

She’s doing pics, and signing pretty much anything. One of the security guards directed her straight for my poster, and she also got my laserdisc M’Lou had. Dude, I got two!

She looks so good, and was so personable. I grabbed my poster and ran down towards the other end of the barricade. I figure she might do the full line but I wasn’t sure.

8:17 p.m. – She’s doing the whole line! I hold out my “Speed” poster and I got her on that as well. Ah, what a great night. She was so personable, and sweet. She’s going really far down the line and signed for a long time. I thought that was really great. Dude, that was awesome!
