It’s Manic Monday!
Sorry it’s been delayed today, I’m smacking my hand right now and saying, “Bad Fanboy! Bad.” I’m not going to lie, I kind of enjoyed it.
For today’s Manic Monday, Pinky is talking about meeting the cast of The Goldbergs, one of the funniest shows on TV! Pinky has been lucky enough to meet the full cast of The Goldbergs!
Check out the full recap below!
Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here in the spirit of Thanksgiving wanting to give thanks for one of our favorite TV shows right now, The Goldbergs. What a great show! For those out of the loop, The Goldbergs is a TV sitcom based in the 1980-somethings.
Each week follows another awesome walk down memory lane in my favorite decade. We couldn’t love anything more! The series was created by Adam F. Goldberg as a loose (?) translation of his life and often features hysterical home videos he shot during the same time. It’s so much fun. Before the show had started, I was lucky to meet both Wendi McClendon-Covey (who plays the mom on the show),
Jeff Garlin (who plays the dad),
and Patton Oswalt (who does the narration of the show),
but I hadn’t met any of the kids until last year. Mikey can (mock) attest to our experience at a pre-Emmys party when I lost my mind over seeing Hayley Orrantia (who plays Erica on the show).
I think Mikey’s exact words were, “No one is dying for Erica from The Goldbergs.” Ahem.
(Editor’s Note: It’s true… No one IS dying for Erica from The Goldbergs! 🙂
Hayley was great at the party and it was fun to meet her, but I think my best experience with one of The Goldbergs happened a few weeks back when I was finally able to meet Sean Giambrone (who plays Adam Goldberg on the show).
I love him! He couldn’t have been cuter in person and we had a blast taking pictures and chatting.
He even posed with our dog, Sammy!
I’m fairly certain we’re BFFs now. The only thing that was missing were his cute glasses – he looked so different without them! Now if I could only meet “Big Tasty” and Pops, my life would be complete! Check out The Goldbergs on ABC every Wednesday (or get caught up on abc.com). You’ll thank me later!
On a side note, my husband just opened his online store to sell autographs and merchandise online. If you’d like to check it out, please visit: www.keithcooganonline.com
