Manic Monday! Pinky Gets Her SNL On After Meeting Cheri Oteri! Selfie Goodness!

I’ve always thought that Cheri Oteri was so hysterical. 

She was so funny on Saturday Night Live. She played some of the most memorable characters in the history of the series. Pinky was lucky enough to meet her recently and she was as nice as could be. Pinky even got two photos with her!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here thrilled to have met one of my faves from Saturday Night Live this weekend, Cheri Oteri.

I’ve been wanting to meet her for the longest time, so when I saw that she’d be attending an event, I jumped at the chance to go. Although I wasn’t sure what to expect, she was as sweet as can be.

She even liked the Tweet I sent her afterwards to thank her! That always fills me with glee. For those who might not know, Cheri was in the cast of SNL from 1995 to 2000. I loved how she always seemed to be up for anything and went above and beyond in all her characters. Of course, she’s probably best known for her “Spartan Cheerleader” character with Will Ferrell – that skit always cracked me up and I looked forward to it every week.

Since she left the show, she’s been found in countless movies and TV shows and always brings the funny. I adore her work and was so happy to meet her in person.

In fact, I was so excited that I couldn’t just get one picture with my camera – I needed one on my iPhone, as well, so that I could upload it immediately to social media. She was more than happy to oblige. Thanks, Cheri! You made my night!
