Manic Monday! Pinky Has A Very English Scandal After Meeting Hugh Grant! Selfies and More!

This weekend Hugh Grant took Hollywood by storm as he did a special FYC event for A Very English Scandal. He was charming as usual and was very nice to everyone at the event.

Pinky got a super cute photo with him and was able to chat for a moment.

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here excited beyond belief to have finally met Hugh Grant when he wasn’t in a car. Previously, I’d met him arriving to an event and was only able to get a picture with him while he was still in the car (not my fave type of photo op, but I’ll take whatever I can get with this hunk).

Thankfully, I was able to attend an FYC event where he mingled with the attendees after the Q&A – hooray!

Of course, now I’m totally kicking myself for not taking full advantage of this opportunity – you know, like taking my time, perhaps getting a picture on a camera, or having Keith take pics while the encounter was happening. But, I was so excited to be around Hugh that I lost my ability to think. By sheer luck, I happened to be the first one to approach him in the mingling area. I said, “Excuse me, Mr. Grant,” because Hugh felt too informal, and he said, “Hi, I’m Hugh.” Yep, I died. I was able to tell him how amazing he was in A Very British Scandal (because he’s incredible and if you haven’t already watched it, please do so when you get a chance) and how much I admired him. We took a selfie and then as I walked away, I’m pretty sure I said, “I love you,” but it was to myself, so hopefully he didn’t hear me (or else he’s used to women professing their love for him wherever he goes – that would make sense).

I mean, seriously, who doesn’t love Hugh Grant? From Four Weddings and a Funeral to Notting Hill to Music and Lyrics to Bridget Jones Diary to Love Actually….I’ve probably watched his movies dozens of times. He can do no wrong in my book and I’m so happy to have had a chance to meet him! Squee!
