Manic Monday! Pinky Talks About The Awesomeness Of Pushing Daisies And Meeting Lee Pace! Selfie Fun!

I used to watch Pushing Daisies all the time. It was a fun and quirky little show that suffered the fate of the Writer’s Strike. Once it finally came back, it didn’t draw a crowd and was gone. Such a shame!

Pinky also loved the series and headed out to meet the star of the series, Lee Pace!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here still jazzed about meeting the one and only Ned the Piemaker from Pushing Daisies.

For those of you who might have never caught the amazing show that was Pushing Daisies (R.I.P.), Lee Pace played the adorable Ned the Piemaker on the show and was completely loveable and fun.

I’ve always wanted to meet him, but somehow never came upon him out and about (despite him being out promoting Halt and Catch Fire and The Hobbit in recent years).

So, when I saw he’d be attending a low-key premiere in Westwood, I jumped at the chance to try and meet him despite not being familiar with the location at all. That’s how much I love Lee (because I usually like to stick to the places I’m comfortable at and know how they work). Thankfully I had nothing to worry about as there were a small group of collectors there when I arrived and everyone was very well behaved. The people running the premiere were pretty easy to work with and made sure the fans were taken care of and the celebrities were able to get to the red carpet in time. Win-win. I love when everyone works together well! Lee was incredibly nice and signed autographs and took pictures with anyone who asked. He was a lot taller than I expected! So thrilled to have met him.
